LCD driver: LCD driver is generally integrated with LCD panel. The panel needs certain analog electrical signals to control liquid crystal molecules. The LCD driver chip is responsible for providing analog electrical signals to control liquid crystal molecules to the panel.

LCD Controller: The LCD controller is integrated within the SoC and is responsible for providing the pixel digital signal to be displayed to the external LCD driver through the digital interface. It must communicate with the LCD driver at a certain time. The LCD controller is controlled by the SoC, which takes pixel data out of memory to the LCD controller and ultimately to the LCD driver.

Choose a memory, memory, SoC in the memory used to store the color data, and then through configuration connect LCD controller and this is a piece of memory, constitute a mapping relationship, once the relationship is established, the LCD controller will automatically read pixel data from the memory to the LCD driver, LCD driver automatically control each pixel of the liquid crystal molecules, in order to form the final image, later don't need to establish the mapping in the SoC to engage in any behavior.
